Advertising Ideas on a Small Budget | SCORE

Advertising Ideas on a Small Budget | SCORE: "Advertising Ideas on a Small Budget

By Susan Jacksack, J.D.
To be effective, advertising must be interruptive—that is, it must make you stop thumbing through the newspaper or thinking about your day long enough to read or hear the ad. Advertising must also be credible, unique, and memorable in order to work. And finally, enough money must be spent to provide a media schedule for ad frequency, the most important element for ad memorability."

Great advertising wisdom from 'SCORE'.

Idea Cafe's Cyberschmooz - Viewing topic #2183 - Input for business idea

What a great idea!

Idea Cafe's Cyberschmooz - Viewing topic #2183 - Input for business idea: "I think I have a great idea for a business -- -- have done some 'very random' brainstorming with friends, relatives etc (but they are gentle with me ) HA!!! I love animals and have been involved with horses, dogs, cats and rescue for a very long time -- I have a 'menagerie' of animals that need routine vet care -and always have quite a delimna in keeping them up to date on care - etc while teaching high school (even with time off) and running a horse boarding facility -- - I think it would be a great idea to provide a service to very busy - 'Urban' pet owners (or any pet owner) that would keep track of when shots, etc are due -- and provide a service to get the pet TO the vet and back home without the person having to take off work, go in late, etc -- I do NOT know how to start this, keep the idea mine, (if that is even a problem) I know you would have to establish contacts with vet offices, have insurance , computer porgram to keep track of due dates - a million 'things' however
I really DO believe this is a great idea -- what do you guys think ???

Springwise: Marketing & Advertising Archives

Springwise: Marketing & Advertising Archives: "Springwise thinks it would make more sense to include a short URL that goes directly to the car's page, as well as an SMS option that would let potential buyers text message a car's ID to a phone number, receiving full details by return message. That said, it's a useful combination of offline and online DIY advertising, and an alternative to sellers posting their phone numbers on hand-made for sale signs. One to learn from and improve on if you're in the business of facilitating sales or rentals."

I read somewhere on Craigslist the other day some guy rant about this place being a not too pleasant place to work.
